After First Unofficial Results Announced, Dunbar Leads

The first unofficial results of the Anchorage Mayoral Runoff election have been announced by the Municipal Clerk and shows Assemblyman Forrest Dunbar leading David Bronson with 50.08% of the vote. Only 114 votes separate the two candidates.

Some had predicted a "Red Wave" turnout would materialize for Bronson, but clearly, that didn't happen.

There will be no further results released this evening. The Municipal Clerks office will announce the next batch of unofficial results on Wednesday.
