What will need to be done between now and then to ensure people and goods can travel safely and freely throughout the state?

Alaska’s Long-Range Transportation Plan and Freight Plan (LRTP/FP) takes a comprehensive approach to map out our future transportation goals and priorities clearly. The LRTP/FP will include a long-range vision, policies, and implementation actions to guide Alaska’s transportation system for the next 25 years according.

"The Long-Range Transportation and Freight Plan will inform strategic investments for our infrastructure for years to come" says Rep. Ivy Sponholz.

Sponholz tweeted out a survey yesterday for those who want to have a say on the future of transportation for Alaska. You can participate in the survey at this link.
