The Anchorage School District has opened a survey for those members of the public who wish to weigh in on the search for a new school superintendent.
In November, Dunleavy cohort Dr. Deena Bishop announced she would be retiring from the school district effective June 30, 2022.
The survey is available in 9 different languages and asks participants to mark 10 characteristics they believe are most important in the selection of a potential candidate.
A link to the survey can be found here.
For those unaware, the process to replace Bishop has been speeding right along. During the week of February 14, candidate applications are expected to be reviewed and interviews with potential candidates will be scheduled.
By the week of February 21, it is expected that final candidates will be identified and interviews scheduled. During the week of February 28 final candidates will be interviewed.
Given that a link to the survey has been posted to the shadowy far-right Save Anchorage group, you may feel compelled to share the survey link with your friends and family.
