Anti-LGBTQ Candidate Bronson Leads
David Bronson continues to lead in the Anchorage mayoral run-off election.
According to the Municipal Clerks office, David Bronson continues to lead in the Anchorage mayoral run-off election 50.68% to 49.32%. 1,212 votes separate Bronson and Dunbar, and 89,763 ballots have been counted thus far.
Yesterday, after opting not to release any election results for the day, Eagle River Assemblywoman Jamie Allard told Save Anchorage group members that she was a "bit troubled with quite a few things. It will all be addressed."
Sources tell me that Allard's time at the Election Center has not been well received. I expect to address that issue in the future.
No further election results are expected this evening.
