Bail Hearing Set for Former Traveling Alaska Massage Therapist

A bail hearing has been scheduled for April 1, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. in the matter of the State of Alaska vs. Karpinski.

On March 19, 2021, Alaska Court Judge Michael Logue issued a temporary order setting Karpinski's bail at $5,000 cash perf + PED with electronic monitoring after Karpinski was arrested on March 18, 2021 and charged with four counts of Sexual Assault II.

Karpinski was a traveling massage therapist who responded to clients’ homes to provide services. He advertised and contacted potential clients through social media. Additionally, Karpinski was also employed at Midtown Chiropractic in 2019. His massage license was recently surrendered to the state; and no longer holds a valid license.

Karpinski's name is spelled incorrectly in Alaska Courtview and can be found by searching "Jason Karpinksi," until the inadvertent error is corrected.
