Dunbar: "Exceptionally High Turnout a Testament"

In a statement made this evening by Anchorage mayoral Candidate Forrest Dunbar just before he leaves to serve in the National Guard for several days, Dunbar wrote:

"Given the size of the deficit and the number of votes we believe are outstanding, it appears unlikely we will make up the difference."

Dunbar says that the exceptionally high turnout seen in the election is "a testament both to the level of engagement among many community members and the continued success of Anchorage's vote by mail system."
