Moderator of Far-Right Save Anchorage Group Writes Dunbar "Rallying His Troops" Over 'Bronsonville'
A moderator of the far-right Anchorage-based Save Anchorage group accused East Anchorage Assemblyman Forrest Dunbar of "rallying his troops" this afternoon after posting a photograph of a flyer against David Bronson's proposed mass homeless shelter.

A moderator of the far-right Anchorage-based Save Anchorage group accused East Anchorage Assemblyman Forrest Dunbar of “rallying his troops” this afternoon after posting a photograph of a flyer asking those against David Bronson’s proposed mass homeless shelter to email the Anchorage Assembly.
The group behind the anti-'Bronsonville' flyers which have been seen across Anchorage, is comprised of a small group of concerned Anchorage residents and are not "troops" of the East Anchorage Assemblymember.
Members of the Save Anchorage group are known for posting humiliating and degrading photographs and videos of Anchorage's homeless community to their super-secret Facebook group. Last year, Alaska Public Media covered the story of a woman who became a target of the group.
Last week, a Save Anchorage group member posted a video and a photograph of purportedly unwell and suffering Anchorage residents to the right-wing group.
Save Anchorage is looking to rally their own troops, asking group members to email the Anchorage Assembly about Bronson's proposed mass shelter ahead of the Anchorage Assembly Committee meeting on Homelessness being held Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 12-1:30 p.m.
Anchorage residents who are not part of the Save Anchorage group are permitted to email the Anchorage Assembly with their own thoughts. The Assembly's email address can be found below.

Assemblyman Forrest Dunbar noted on Twitter shortly after this post that he has been out of town, played no role in printing or distributing the flyers, and wrote that the Save Anchorage moderator was "lying."
