Kelly Nash Doubles Down on Call to Eliminate LGBTQ+ Alaskans as Daughter Runs for Public Office
Fairbanks activist Kelly Nash has spent years targeting LGBTQ+ Alaskans. This week, she went further - endorsing a call for their “elimination."

Fairbanks activist Kelly Lindsey "Nasty" Nash has spent years attacking LGBTQ+ Alaskans under the guise of “protecting children.” She’s called queer people predators and pedophiles, torn down Pride signage, targeted drag events, and publicly harassed educators. She’s fed the personal photographs and videos of local teachers to the extremist Libs of TikTok account, fully aware of the violent threats, doxing, and other unwarranted abuses that follow. A frequent source of "information" for the far-right blog, Must Read Alaska, which has falsely portrayed her as a victim, Nash is now calling for the "elimination" of transgender and queer Alaskans.
In a Facebook post made this week in which Nash called a Bethel educator a "threat to children" who needed to be removed from their teaching position, one of Nash’s Facebook besties called for the elimination of "all LGBT people," suggesting they should be sent to Afghanistan, where the locals would "kill them for us.”

Unsurprisingly, Nash didn’t object to Kendall Kimber's comment. In fact, she enthusiastically replied: “Not so much the LGB, but definitely the TQ2+h3?&:7.”
Now, while you might think the garbled text in her comment is the result of Nash passing out on her keyboard, a keen observer will note that she was mocking the identities of trans, queer, Two-Spirit, and nonbinary people—signaling who she believes should be targeted next for "elimination."
An emailed request sent to Facebook's Project 2025-aligned public relations department seeking comment on the company's continued platforming of hate speech targeting LGBTQ+ individuals, specifically Nash's comment calling for the elimination of queer and trans people, was not returned by deadline.
In case it's unclear, Nash wasn't joking, and her comment can't be chalked up to another offensive comment on social media. She’s a dangerous far-right lunatic who has spent years targeting private citizens with defamatory statements and is now actively encouraging violence under the banner of “parental rights” and “community values.”
Even more alarming is that while QAnon adherent Nash publicly spells out who she believes should be eliminated, her daughter, Hannah Ekalook, is running for Fairbanks City Council. Ekalook’s campaign is packaged in soft branding and vague messaging about “community” and “making Fairbanks thrive,” but one of her listed campaign deputy treasurers is wait for it...yep, you guessed it...Kelly Nash.
Now, given Nash's long history of threats and abuse against LGBTQ+ people, that’s definitely a choice. The same person who endorsed the extermination of trans and queer people is actively engaged in her daughter's campaign for public office.
Ekalook did not respond to an emailed request for comment regarding her mother’s call to exterminate queer and transgender Alaskans.
Nash maintains cozy ties with several far-right figures—including U.S. House Representative Nick Begich III, who ran anti‑trans ads throughout his 2022 campaign; and Alaska State Rep. Jamie Allard, who was removed from the state Human Rights Commission for defending Nazi-themed vanity license plates. Allard has also helped amplify the “groomers” smear against educators in social media posts and then lied about having done so, while gleefully championing the stochastic terrorist account, Libs of TikTok.

For those of you holding out hope that maybe Kelly just had a bad day or would quietly delete her comment and move on...she didn’t. She doubled down. Hours after I exposed her violent comment about LGBTQ+ Alaskans, she once again took to Facebook, mocked a local queer performer, and signed off with: “I said what I said.”
No apology. Just more venom, delivered with a smug, self-satisfied smile. Nash later deleted the post, but her original comment, the one endorsing the “elimination” of LGBTQ+ people, remains.

Nash isn’t interested in dialogue. She’s a committed foot soldier in Alaska's MAGA hate machine, and her only goal with these vile posts and comments can be chalked up to a strong, deep-rooted desire to harass and, by her own admission, disappear anyone who doesn’t fit into her narrow, delusional worldview.
The best thing you can do is block her. Her main Facebook account is public, but she’s also known to operate under multiple fake profiles...something that violates Facebook’s terms of service, not that they seem interested in enforcing them.
