According to a Facebook post, the Must Read Alaska website is under "cyber-attack," and the website has been placed into maintenance mode.
The far-right blog, known for its often dramatic personal flair, inventive subject matter and catchy headlines, made the announcement on their Facebook page around 4pm.
It's not yet clear how Must Read Alaska is defining the term "cyber-attack," but some followers of the blog have already called for Anchorage mayoral candidate Forrest Dunbar to be held accountable.
Other followers of MRA claim that liberals are behind the alleged attack, with one user writing, "Liberals are very nasty people, just look at the Anchorage Assembly, Juneau RINO Party flippers or Beijing Biden Administration and the Swamp run by Pelosi and Schumer include Murky."
Some non-supporters of the blog wrote on social media that "it's difficult to believe anything people say," while others accused Must Read Alaska of engaging in a "gaslighting tactic" and that perhaps "MRA does not know what a real cyber-attack is."
The Must Read Alaska website has been down for nearly five hours as of this writing.
