Recall Allard Hashtag Hijacked

This past week, embattled assemblywoman Jamie Allard attempted to start a trend of the #AllardForAk hashtag on Facebook in what appears to be an effort to solidify her political base.

Many people took screenshots of the hashtag as it started to appear across local social media circles. The Assemblywoman may want to take some advice, however, as it appears the #AllardForAk has been hijacked. If you're going to start a hashtag trend, you may want to secure the website URL first.

Typing in at www.allardforak.com will automatically redirect you to the website www.recalljamieallard.com.

The website appears to have a plethora of information on it — including contact information, a district 2 map, and a direct link to submit testimony for the February 9, 2021 Anchorage assembly meeting when it is expected the assembly may take some form of action against the Eagle River assemblywoman after her Nazi license plate disaster last week.

The website is directly linked to the well-organized Recall Jamie Allard Facebook group which announced their recall ambitions last week.

It appears whoever is behind the Allard Recall effort knows how to play and that Assemblywoman Allard may need to up her game.

Wow. I did Nazi this coming.
