Recall Jamie Allard Effort Ready to Receive Records Request
The "Recall Jamie Allard" effort forked over $480.00 to the Municipal Clerk's Office for charges related to a record request they placed in the middle of February. The group is seeking information on the Eagle River Assemblywoman's communications.
According to the Record Request Statement of Costs, the Clerk's Office took 12 hours at $40.00 an hour to search for, retrieve, review and redact records in response to the groups request.
The recall effort, which is a true grassroots effort without heavy-hitting financial backers behind it, will learn tomorrow when the Clerk's Office will turn over the documents related to their request.
According to a press release issued by the group last month:
"Municipality of Anchorage constituents seek to recall Assembly member Jamie Allard for her divisive rhetoric, unethical conduct, and ineffective leadership."
