This is the PPE Given to ASD Teachers

A source with the Anchorage School District has shared pictures they say depict PPE provided to educators at one local area school.

2 disposable gowns and some flimsy-looking spit guards, which have almost nothing to do with keeping the transmission of a virus from spreading through the air. Also included are a couple small bottles of sanitizer, gloves and some masks.

• One teacher said, "I haven’t been given any gowns- however, we were given 1 microfiber cloth that we can use to clean with —— HOWEVER —— we would need to take it home with us and launder it each day. Everyone was shocked at that one."

Do these items seem adequate when we talk about a highly contagious virus spreading at an accelerated rate when schools are scheduled to begin just a week before Thanksgiving?
