Forrest Dunbar Announces Reelection Campaign for Assembly

Forrest Dunbar announced today that he would seek reelection for the Anchorage Assembly, East Anchorage District 5.

Dunbar's opponent is far-right candidate Stephanie Taylor, who has enlisted outside help to manage her campaign just as Mayor Bronson did.

In a press release, Dunbar, who has championed investments in child abuse prevention, sexual assault, and domestic violence prevention, and a new Mental Health First Responder program, said that he will keep fighting for East Anchorage and that while some want to turn local government into "political theater," he intends to stay focused on the issues that matter to his constituents.
