Help Give the Bronson Administration Lots of Choices

With today's announcement that a frequent anti-mask testifier is up for consideration for appointment to the Health and Human Services Commission, it's an excellent time to remind the good folks of Anchorage about opportunities for public service.
The Muni has dozens of boards and commissions that interface between departments and the public. They are filled with volunteers recommended by the Mayor's Office and confirmed by the Anchorage Assembly.
Let's give the new administration many choices and let the Anchorage Assembly know what those choices are. The Anchorage Assembly does not have to approve appointments just because they're put in front of them, and they are more likely to decline an appointment if they know better-balanced choices exist.
Apply here: Boards and Commissions Boards and Commissions (muni.org), then email the Assembly/Clerk at wwmas@muni.org with your resume & let them know you've applied.
Board & Commission meetings are also open to the public with opportunities for public comment, so be sure and check out the public notices regularly.
