According to a joint statement issued by the Bronson Administration and the Legislative Drafting Group, a Town Hall will be held on October 20 that seeks to gather community input on the proposed Mass Care exit strategy.
A flyer for the event states that the Mass Care exit strategy involves housing, transitional housing, supportive housing, treatment, and navigation centers, among other initiatives. The exit strategy calls for a 'no wrong door' approach with services tailored to individual needs.
Interesting to note in the release is that the plural form of the word "center" is used which indicates multiple navigation centers for the city are now being considered.

According to an individual familiar with the ongoing discussions between the Bronson Administration, the Anchorage Assembly, and the Legislative Drafting Group, as well as documents available on the Committee on Housing and Homelessness website, the proposed Mass Care exit strategy seeks to utilize navigation centers and renovated spaces to address homelessness in the Municipality.
The Town Hall Meeting will be held this Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the Wilda Marston Theatre located at Loussac Library.
Ahead of the Town Hall, the Assembly Committee on Housing and Homelessness will also meet Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams, the agenda for which can be found below.
