Public Hearing Schedule for December 14 Special Meeting

The December 14 Special Meeting of the Anchorage Assembly will feature several items for public hearing that were on the December 7 agenda but could not be addressed before the meeting adjourned. The special meeting will begin at 6pm in the Assembly Chambers at the Loussac Library on Tuesday, December 14.

4.A. FIRST PUBLIC HEARING: Ordinance No. AO 2021-110, an ordinance of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly amending Anchorage Municipal Code Title 28, Elections, to update and clarify provisions of the Code, Assembly Member Petersen, Assembly Chair LaFrance, Assembly Vice-Chair Constant.

4.B. Ordinance No. AO 2021-114, an ordinance amending Anchorage Municipal Code Chapter 3.20 relating to the organization of the Executive Branch and setting forth the duties and responsibilities of Executive Branch agencies; and amending related Anchorage Municipal Code to reflect the new executive management structure, Department of Law.

4.C. Ordinance No. AO 2021-115, an ordinance of the Anchorage Assembly amending Anchorage Municipal Code Chapter 10.80 to align with the State of Alaska’s Regulation change increasing the potency limit for marijuana products, Assembly Vice-Chair Constant.

4.D. Resolution No. AR 2021-392, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly approving a Marijuana License and Special Land Use Permit for Alaska Joint Ventures, LLC, a marijuana cultivation facility with License Number M27922, doing business as Bad Habits, and located at 7731 Schoon Street, Unit D, in Anchorage. (Taku/Campbell Community Council) (Case 2021-0128), Planning Department.

4.E. Resolution No. AR 2021-399, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly approving an amendment to an alcohol special land use permit to expand an existing liquor store by 906 square feet to increase in size from 3,054 square feet to 3,960 square feet for License 1941 for Liquor Stores USA North, Inc., dba Brown Jug (Independence Park location on Abbott Road); in the B-3 SL (general business with special limitations) District; located at 2101 Abbott Road, Units 10 and 11, within Independence Park Shop Village, Block 1, Lot 1; generally located north of Abbott Road, east of Vanguard Drive, south of East 88th Avenue, and west of Toloff Street, in Anchorage, Planning.
